Roland Haynes — Second Wave

$25.99

Officially licensed reissue courtesy of Real Gone Music and pressed by Gotta Groove Records on 150 gram vinyl.  Lacquers cut by Clint Holley and Dave Polster at the Well Made Music studios.

The only album by the great jazz-fusion keyboardist, this 1975 Black Jazz-label LP finds Roland teaming with musicians who had played with Gene Harris, Vince Guaraldi, Ornette Coleman, Chet Baker and more. Dueling electric pianos (Roland vs. Kirk Lightsey) make for some killer keyboard jams as you hear “Eglise,” “Second Wave,” “Descent,” “Funky Mama Moose” and more.
